Why "Claude SEO audit" — does Claude AI actually run the audit?
The audit runs locally (PHP + curl + regex), no AI cost per audit. "Claude" refers to my positioning: I specialise in optimizing sites for Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity in addition to classic Google SEO. The audit checks AI-era signals (AI crawler access, llms.txt, author schema for citation) that most free tools skip.
Why do I need to give my email?
Two reasons. One — you get the full report in your inbox so you can come back to it. Two — if I'm going to spend server resources and ~30 seconds of audit time on your site, I want to stay in touch. Fair trade.
Temporary/disposable emails?
Blocked. I maintain a list of ~250 disposable domains. Your Gmail +alias trick also won't work — we normalize those back to the root address. Use a real business email.
How often can I audit the same site?
Max 3 audits per email per 24 hours. Running the same URL twice within 24 hours just returns your existing report (saves my compute + your wait time).
What's an "AI crawler" and why does it matter?
GPTBot (OpenAI), ClaudeBot (Anthropic), PerplexityBot and Google-Extended are bots that crawl the web so their AI systems can quote sites in their answers. If you block them in robots.txt (often accidentally), your content will never be cited by ChatGPT or Claude — a huge source of 2026 referral traffic.
What's llms.txt?
It's a markdown file at your site root (/llms.txt) that gives AI engines a curated guide to your best content. Think of it as a sitemap + executive summary for LLMs. Takes 30 minutes to write, huge AI visibility payoff. This tool checks whether you have one.
