LinkedIn has moved from domain rank #11 to #5 in ChatGPT in just three months. More importantly, it now holds the #1 position for professional queries across all four major AI platforms: ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity.

Key findings from the research:

  • LinkedIn articles are cited 3.2x more than personal blogs for B2B topics
  • Long-form LinkedIn posts (1,500+ words) receive the most citations
  • Company pages are cited less frequently than individual expert profiles
  • Posts with data, case studies, and specific numbers are cited at 4x the rate

This trend is accelerating as AI platforms increasingly value authoritative, expert-driven content from recognized professional networks.
